The key documents make part of the intergovernmental agreement on social and economic cooperation for 2019-2023. This is a comprehensive document aimed at the development of cooperation in a variety of industries.

The agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed between the academies of sciences of the two countries. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Uzbekistan signed a program of consultations for 2019-2020. The two states also formalized a protocol on amendments and additions to the intergovernmental agreement on international highroad services of 22 December 1994.

The majority of documents signed between the two countries are agreements to develop cooperation between various ministries and government bodies. The agreements were concluded between state agencies for property and forensic expertise, healthcare, culture, education, agriculture and food ministries.

Several intergovernmental cooperation agreements were signed in such sectors as science and technology, the protection of industrial property, mutual assistance in customs matters, promotion of mutual trade, and the development of military and technical cooperation.

Alexander Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a joint statement. The two heads of state expressed their satisfaction with the progressive development of bilateral cooperation. They also expressed their belief that the implementation of the agreements will contribute to the further development of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries.
