MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Utilities Ministry to sort out issues with regard to home insulation of residential buildings as he spoke at the nationwide seminar on the improvement and development of the Belarusian housing and utility sector, BelTA has learned.
“For saving reasons you altered the standards and approaches to home insulation. The people view it differently,” the head of state said.
“If people want their home to be insulated above the standards provided in the regulations, then make calculations and do it at their expense. To make it easier on their pockets, talk to the construction industry and manufacturers of insulation and offer installment plans. This can save big money,” the president said.
