MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met a U.S. delegation led by the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Carpenter, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current Belarus-United States relations and possible areas of further bilateral cooperation, including in military sphere, and also the situation in the region and in the world.
Belarus’ Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Andrei Ravkov met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Dr Michael Carpenter on 29 March to exchange views on the issues of international security in the military sphere.
