MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) - Belarus and the United Arab Emirates will expand cooperation in tourism. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the UAE Roman Golovchenko met with Mr Mohammed Khamis Al Muhairi, director general at the National Council of Tourism and Antiquities, to consider the ways to enhance interaction in this field, BelTA learned from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.
The meeting discussed the participation of the parties in tourist exhibitions in both countries, arranging presentations of tourism opportunities and organizing study tours.
An agreement was reached to arrange a visit to Belarus of a delegation of the National Council of Tourism and Antiquities together with travel agencies with the aim of further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.
