Belarus Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei is in Istanbul on a working visit on 29-30 December. He held consultations with chief executives and owners of large Turkish holding companies and firms to discuss long-term strategies for cooperation with Belarusian enterprises-exporters with a view to increasing exports to the Turkish market and the countries of the Middle East. The focus was on supplying products of Belarus’ petrochemical, machine-building, wood processing and food industries, the press service said.

The agenda of the visit includes the issues regarding the status of implementation of joint projects and the prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and industrial cooperation.
