MINSK, 28 March (BelTA) – Belarusian and Turkish Foreign Ministries held political consultations in Ankara on 28 March to discuss the prospects of political, trade and economic cooperation, BelTA has learned from the press-service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko and Turkish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Umit Yardim were leading their delegations respectively. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, political dialogue, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, development of the legal framework. The two delegations exchanged opinions on the topical issues of global agenda.
Oleg Kravchenko also met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Yıldız and Deputy Minister of Economy Fatih Metin. The parties discussed the ways of promoting economic and investment dialogue and the preparations for the 9th session of Belarus-Turkey intergovernmental economic commission to be held in Minsk in June.
