MINSK, 22 January (BelTA) - Belarus will open an embassy in Georgia in 2016, reads Resolution No. 43 by the Council of Ministers as of 21 January 2016, adopted, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.
"In accordance with paragraph 8 of the regulations on diplomatic missions and consular offices, approved by Decree No. 247 dated 9 July 1996, the Council of Ministers decided to open the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Georgia in 2016,” reads the document.
The Finance Ministry shall finance the expenses on opening and maintenance of the embassy within the funds set aside in the national budget for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the opening and maintenance of diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad.
