MOSCOW, 24 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian government has decided to provide resources to help strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha said at a press conference in Moscow on 24 April, BelTA has learnt.
The CSTO Secretary General noted that Belarus provided a significant amount of aid.
The aid was also provided by Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. According to Nikolai Bordyuzha, Russia is now deciding on the amount and type of aid to be provided for the purpose. He noted that the progress is slower than expected because the amount of the aid will be quite big.
The aid is provided by the CSTO member states in line with the relative executive order of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
