Belarus, Sri Lanka to sign mutual legal assistance, extradition agreements
MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko approved draft agreements between the Republic of Belarus and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka concerning mutual legal assistance and extradition as a basis for holding the corresponding talks. The Belarusian head of state signed the relevant decrees on 1 October, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.
The Justice Ministry has been authorized to conduct the negotiations and sign the agreements.
