MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Slovenia have confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying the political dialogue, cooperation in trade, economy and investments and improvement of the legal framework. The matters were discussed at a meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yelena Kupchina with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovenia to Russia and Belarus on concurrent Primoz Seligo on 15 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of the entire range of the Belarus-Slovenia relations, as well as cooperation between Belarus and the EU.
They also discussed preparation for the regular session of the Belarus-Slovenia intergovernmental commission for trade, economic and sci-tech cooperation that will be held in Ljubljana on 20-21 October. The commission is co-chaired by Yelena Kupchina and Director General of the Directorate for Economic Diplomacy of Slovenia Stanislav Rascan.
