MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – Belarus and Slovakia are interested in intensifying cooperation in the customs sector. The matter was discussed at the meeting between Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Belarus Yuri Senko and Vice President of the Financial Administration of Slovakia Dana Meager, BelTA learnt from the press service of the State Customs Committee of Belarus.
“Yuri Senko and Dana Meager discussed the main cooperation areas between the customs services of Belarus and Slovakia within the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt concept, including the customs control,” the State Customs Committee said. The parties also touched upon the issues related to cooperation between the law enforcement subdivisions of the customs services of the two countries in air transportation.
The sides took note of progress made in Belarus-Slovakia bilateral relations in the customs service, the press service of the State Customs Committee of Belarus added.
