MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – Belarus and the Republic of South Africa (RSA) confirm their intention for further development of mutual relations, Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei said at the meeting with Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa Maite Nkoana Mashabane in Minsk on 3 September, BelTA has learnt.
Vladimir Makei stressed that the RSA with its biggest economy on the continent is an important partner for Belarus. According to the minister, the countries enjoy good relations, implement bilateral projects.
“Your visit is of high significance for us since we can discuss the current situation and our cooperation plans,” Vladimir Makei said.
In turn, Maite Nkoana Mashabane noted that the RSA attaches great importance to the development of relations between the two countries. She also stressed the importance of cooperation in agriculture and food security.
