MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) - Belarus and Romania are planning to sign agreements in education, culture and science, Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodor-Viorel Melescanu said in an interview with BelTA.
“We attach great importance to the development of the legal framework that will facilitate bilateral exchanges and projects with the participation of institutions and specialists of the two countries. Now work is underway on an agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education, a program of cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and National Identity of Romania and the Culture Ministry of Belarus,” the minister said.
He also noted that the text of the agreement on cooperation in science and technology between the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Romania and the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus has been agreed. “The parties need to set the date when the document will be signed,” the minister added.
