MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) – Resident Representative of Belarus in the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Nikolai Borisevich presented his credentials to OPCW Director General Ahmet Uzumcu, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.
The ceremony to present the credentials took place on 4 July, said the Belarusian Foreign Ministry. During the meeting of Nikolai Borisevich and Ahmet Uzumcu the state and prospects of Belarus-OPCW interaction were discussed. Affairs concerning the current operation of the organization, including the session of the Executive Council scheduled for 8-11 July, were discussed.
