MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will visit the Middle East region on 29 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Alexander Lukashenko is scheduled to hold talks with Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani as part of his official visit to Qatar. The parties are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents.
From Qatar, the Belarusian President will head to the United Arab Emirates on a working visit. The head of state is set to meet with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Force Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan. Alexander Lukashenko is also scheduled to hold talks with Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The meetings will discuss promising areas of bilateral cooperation and joint projects.
