MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ relations with the European Union should be honest and fair, all the prejudices should be forgotten. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made the statement as he accepted credentials from a number of foreign ambassadors, BelTA has learned.
Alexander Lukashenko noted: “I think we should forget any prejudices and build our relations with the European Union in an honest, fair, and objective manner.”
The President stressed that as a European country Belarus would like normalization and serious development of relations with the European Union. “I am confident that our relations will advance positively,” added Alexander Lukashenko.
