MINSK, 13 December (BelTA) – The issues of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the citizens of Belarus and Poland were high on the agenda of the ministerial consultations on consular issues in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
A Belarusian delegation was led by Igor Fisenko, the Head of Consulate Directorate. A Polish delegation was headed by Director of the Department of Consular Affairs Jaroslaw Lasinski.
"In the course of the consultations, the parties discussed the issues of protection of rights and legitimate interests of the citizens of Poland and Belarus on the territory of the both countries, the application of the intergovernmental agreement on mutual trips of citizens and the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Poland on legal assistance and legal relations in civil, family, labor and criminal matters, " the press service informed.
Other issues, including visa application procedures, were also discussed during the consultations.
