MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Premier Mikhail Myasnikovich is expected to partake in a sworn-in ceremony of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.
“The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place in Ankara on 28 August. Partaking in it will be Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich,” the government said.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan won Turkey's first direct presidential election with the majority of votes.
Previously presidents were appointed by parliament, but this year the Turkish people have had the opportunity to cast their votes.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan was Turkish Prime Minister since 2003.
