MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Kingdom of Belgium, Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the EU Alexander Mikhnevich met with Secretary General of the Energy Charter Secretariat Dr Urban Rusnak to discuss the cooperating between Belarus and the International Energy Charter, the current trends in the interstate relations in the zone of responsibility of the organization on 30 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Dr Urban Rusnak laid out the results of the cooperation of the Energy Charter Secretariat and Belarus’ Energy Ministry as Belarus is preparing to join the EU technical assistance program EU4Energy and also the current prospects for cooperation,” the press service informed.

The parties discussed the algorithm of joint steps to promote Belarus’ interests in the EU4Energy.
