MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – On 12 September Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Kent Harstedt, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and special coordinator of the OSCE short-term observer mission during the parliamentary elections in Belarus, and Cayetana de Zulueta Owtram, head of the OSCE ODIHR mission sent to observe the elections to the lower chamber of the Belarusian parliament, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
According to the source, during the meeting the sides discussed preliminary results of the mission sent by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to observe the parliamentary elections in Belarus. The sides reached an agreement that Belarus will continue working together with the OSCE in election affairs.
