MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) - Belarus and Luxembourg need to convert cooperation into specific economic projects, Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media following his meeting with Luxembourg Minister of Foreign Affairs Jean Asselborn, BelTA has learned.
“I am confident that together we will be able to maintain and multiply the current potential of the bilateral interaction and convert it into concrete economic projects to be implemented for the benefit of Belarus and Luxembourg,” Vladimir Makei said.
The Minister also welcomed the intensification of political contacts between the two countries. “I hope that the practice of holding regular high-level meetings between various agencies of Belarus and Luxembourg will become a tradition. We look forward to expanding economic contacts between the two countries. I believe that we need to develop bilateral cooperation not only in trade but also in new fields: finance and banking, IT.”
