MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Latvia have confirmed the interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the military sector, BelTA learned from the website of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
On 14 November the Belarusian ministry played host to a meeting between Head of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Defense Ministry of Belarus, Defense Minister Aide on International Military Cooperation Oleg Voinov and Head of the Directorate for Bilateral Relations of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ilgvars Klava.
The sides exchanged opinions on international and regional security, discussed the state and prospects of the Belarusian-Latvian cooperation, confirmed the interests of the two states in strengthening the bilateral cooperation in the military sector.
