MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – The Belarus-Israel agreement on visa-free travels will apply to all groups of citizens, Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 10 July, BelTA has learnt.
“While conducting talks on visa-free travels and easier visa procedures, Belarus insists that no group of Belarusian citizens should be discriminated by such an agreement. Therefore, we will proceed from the fact that the agreement with Israel, just like with other countries, will cover all Belarusian citizens,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
He noted that the talks on the visa-free travels between Belarus and Israel were launched upon the initiative of Belarus. “The talks are going on and are making a pretty good progress. We hope that the optimistic statements of our Israeli counterparts will be materialized,” the representative of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry noted.
