MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Government bodies of Belarus and Israel plan to intensify foreign trade and investment cooperation. The matter was discussed in a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Israel Vladimir Skvortsov and Director of Economic Affairs Division 3 of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Edward Shapira on 3 June, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the intensification of bilateral cooperation through government bodies in the field of foreign trade and investment,” the ministry said.
The parties also considered issues of preparation for the next meeting of the Belarusian-Israeli committee on trade and economic cooperation. The sides considered different ways of cooperation in the field of high technologies, including participation of Belarusian delegations in specialized exhibitions and conferences held in Israel.
