MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Israel discussed the first meeting of the joint working group on standardization and Israel’s implementation of the domestic procedures on the introduction of a visa-free regime with Belarus on 8 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The issue highlighted the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Vladimir Skvortsov and Minister of Immigrant Absorption of the State of Israel, Co-chairperson of the joint Belarus-Israel Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation Sofa Landver. The parties discussed further steps in the implementation of agreements envisaged in the protocol of the fourth meeting of the joint committee (Jerusalem, 4 February 2014).

Special attention of the meeting was turned to the issues related to the opening of Israeli credit lines under the guarantees of Belarusian banks and the creation of the Belarusian-Israeli Agro-Industrial Park.
