TEHRAN, 23 January (BelTA-IRNA) - Belarus and Iran have developed a roadmap for bilateral cooperation for 2018-2020, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari told the media on the first day of the 14th session of the mixed Belarusian-Iranian commission for economic cooperation in Tehran.
“The commission has developed a roadmap for the development of bilateral cooperation in various areas of politics, investment, trade, industry, transport, agriculture, health, education, science, technology and energy,” Mohammad Shariatmadari said.
The minister also welcomed an increase in the trade between the two countries, saying that there is an intention to raise it up to $500 million.
The 14th meeting of the mixed Belarusian-Iranian commission for economic cooperation is running in Tehran on 22-23 January. The Belarusian delegation is led by Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk.
