MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) - The Belarusian Investigative Committee hosted a working meeting with scientists from Russia and Ukraine with the participation of Chairperson of the Investigative Committee Ivan Noskevich on 9 November, BelTA learned from the Investigative Committee of Belarus.
“The meeting participants discussed the issues of law enforcement during pre-trial proceedings and also the areas of further cooperation in the scientific field, including within the framework of the journal “Preliminary Investigation”, the founder of which is the Investigation Committee,” the committee said.
The event was attended by Oksana Kachalova, the head of the department of criminal justice at the Russian University of Justice, and Oksana Kaplina, the head of criminal process at Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University. Both guests are also members of the editorial board of the journal “Preliminary Investigation”.
Summing up the meeting, Ivan Noskevich welcomed the constructive relations between the Investigative Committee and foreign partners and took note of the good prospects for cooperation. The minister also thanked the guests for their personal involvement in the development of the departmental journal and their readiness to implement new promising joint projects in the scientific-practical area.
