Belarus, Indonesia announce contest of engineering projects

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology and the Ministry of Research and Technology of Indonesia together with the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia have announced a competition of joint engineering projects for 2021-2022, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology.

The competition is centered around the main areas of bilateral cooperation, including public health and medicine (raw materials, including natural raw materials for pharmaceutics, medical equipment and stem cells), emergency response and environmental management, manufacturing technology (energy saving, food production, computer modeling in the engineering sector).   

Applications are accepted through 15 September 2020. They should contain a business plan drafted in an established manner and a written commitment of a public sector customer to use the outcomes of research. Applications should be sent in an electronic form to the Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology.

The contest is held in line with the agreement on sci-tech cooperation signed by the governments of Belarus and Indonesia on 19 March 2013.
