MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Georgia signed an agreement on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian State Security Committee.
“The document provides a legal framework for the protection of classified information exchanged in all and any areas of bilateral cooperation between the government bodies and organizations of Belarus and Georgia,” the press service noted.
The document was signed by top officials of relevant bodies in charge of protecting classified information: Chairman of Belarus’ State Security Committee Valery Vakulchik and Head of Georgia’s State Security Service Vakhtang Gomelauri.
