Belarus Foreign Minister to meet with Vietnam President

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei is expected to meet with President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The talks will be held as part of an official visit of the Belarusian Foreign Minister to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam which started on 24 March. Vladimir Makei is due to meet with Vice Premier – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh.

The talks and meetings in Vietnam will focus on the status and prospects of political, trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two states. The parties will also sign a number of international bilateral documents.
