MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – Belarus and Finland have agreed to resume preparations for a full-scale economic forum after the pandemic. This matter was in focus of a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Finland Aleksei Samosuyev and Under-Secretary of State at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs Nina Vaskunlahti, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The press service noted that the parties discussed the state of the Belarusian-Finnish economic relations. “The parties agreed to resume work to organize the full-scale 7th edition of the Belarusian-Finnish economic forum after the pandemic,” the ministry noted.
Aleksei Samosuyev and Nina Vaskunlahti focused on green technology, attracting Finnish companies to Belarusian projects under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and strengthening relations of Finnish companies with the industrial park Great Stone. The diplomats also exchanged opinions on the countries’ interaction within the Eastern Partnership.
