MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) - Belarus and the EU will hold the first round of dialogue on human rights in Brussels on 28 July, spokesman for the Minsitry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian delegation will be led by the head of the main directorate of multilateral diplomacy at the Minsitry of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich. The EU delegation will be led by Silvio Gonzato, Director for Human Rights and Democracy, European External Action Service (EEAS).

Dmitry Mironchik noted that during the dialogue, the parties will discuss the current state and prospects of cooperation on human rights issues. The agenda will also include the issues of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of human rights.
