MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – The first round of the Belarusian-Portuguese political consultations took place in Minsk on 11 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. The delegation of Portugal was headed by Director-General for Foreign Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Francisco Duarte Lopes.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral relations between Belarus and Portugal, the prospects for Belarus-EU dialogue, cooperation in international organizations, and also shared the views on the current international agenda.
Francisco Duarte Lopes also met with Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.
