MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with his counterparts of the EU member states. The Belarusian minister paid a working visit to Brussels on 13-14 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
At the meeting the parties exchanged views on the status and prospects of interaction between Belarus and the European Union.
The head of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also held talks with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini, European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow. During the meetings the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between Belarus and the European Union and NATO.
