MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) – The Belarus-China sci-tech cooperation program through 2020 will be approved at the meeting of the sci-tech cooperation commission of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee in Beijing on 4-5 September, BelTA learned from the pres service of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus.
The Belarusian part of the commission will be led by Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin, the Chinese part – by Minister of Science and Technology Wang Zhigang. The agenda of the meeting will include eight issues, including the development of the sci-tech and innovation sectors of Belarus an China, the implementation of projects, the organization of joint events and review the progress made in the implementation of the Belarusian-Chinese sci-tech projects slated for 2019-2020.
The parties plan to sign the final protocol and approve the sci-tech cooperation program through 2020.
