MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – Cooperation in legal affairs was discussed as Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Zhevnyak met with the party committee member in the rank of the deputy justice minister of China Gan Zangchun on 5 June, BelTA has learned.
Changes in the structure of the court system, reforms of the defense attorney and notary office systems in Belarus and China were discussed during the meeting. The application of information technologies in legal affairs was discussed as well as their introduction into state administration processes, interaction between government agencies and citizens, commercial entities, and mass media.
The sides sketched out promising avenues of cooperation between the Belarus President Administration and the Chinese Justice Ministry with a view to sharing the best practices in lawmaking and law enforcement.
