MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Azerbaijan are developing a joint cooperation program in education. The document was discussed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Azerbaijan Gennady Akhramovich and Education Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov on 22 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties talked over bilateral cooperation in the education sector, including higher and vocational education, as well as the development of the joint cooperation program in the education sector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
“The parties confirmed their readiness to develop the Belarusian-Azerbaijani cooperation in training specialists in the educational establishments of the two countries and continue the work on the expansion of contacts between universities,” the press service noted.
