MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Nazaruk has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev to discuss preparations for a session of the Belarus-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation and other matters, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties confirmed the strategic level of Belarus-Azerbaijan relations, discussed in detail the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation and the schedule of contacts in the near future, with a focus on the forthcoming meeting of the Belarus-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
“The parties exchanged views on how to resolve the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict and resume economic cooperation in South Caucasus. They also discussed mutual support within the framework of international organizations.
