Belarus, Armenia to mutually ease up traveler registration requirements

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved a draft protocol on expanding the Belarusian-Armenian intergovernmental agreement on visa-free travels of citizens. The head of state signed the relevant decree on 1 March, BelTA has learned.

In line with the document citizens of one of the countries, who temporarily stay in the other country, will no longer have to seek residence registration within 30 days of their arrival’s date. They will still have to get registered after 30 days have passed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko authorized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to conduct negotiations on the draft protocol and sign the document if the sides come to an agreement.
