MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) - Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Anatoly Kalinin Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Moldova, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Moldova and Belarus have established “wonderful relations”, including relations at the highest level.
The head of the state described the president of the Republic of Moldova as “a very good friend of Belarus”. "You will always find common ground with him," the Belarusian president assured the ambassador.
Promoting trade and economic cooperation is the top priority for the ambassador. "We have no problems in politics and other issues," the president stressed.
