MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Argentine Republic Viktor Kozintsev handed over credentials to Vice President of Argentina Amado Boudou on 18 March, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

“During the ceremony Viktor Kozintsev met with Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers Jorge Capitanich and First Deputy Foreign Minister Eduardo Zuain. The parties confirmed mutual interest in promoting Belarus-Argentina trade and economic cooperation, expanding business contacts and improving the bilateral legal framework,” the press service informed.

After the ceremony, the Belarusian Ambassador laid a wreath at the monument of General Jose de San Martin, the national hero of Argentina.
