MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) – In April 2018 the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.3% as against March 2018 and 102.8% as against December 2017, representatives of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
In April 2018 the base index of consumer prices, which does not account for changes in prices for individual goods and services susceptible to administrative and seasonal factors, stood at 100.2% in comparison with March 2018 and 101.6% in comparison with December 2017.
In April 2018 food prices went up by 0.4% from March 2018 and 4.2% in comparison with April 2017. Non-food prices grew by 0.01% from March 2018 and by 2.5% from April 2017. The index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 100.5% as against March 2018 and 110.3% as against April 2017.
