CAIRO, 19 February (BelTA) – Egypt together with Belarus intends to access the Eurasian and African markets with products of joint ventures, Egypt President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi told journalists after the talks with Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 19 February, BelTA has learned.
“Egypt’s and Belarus’ location on the international map will help open new markets for Egyptian and Belarusian products in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Arab world, and African countries,” Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said.
He believes that setting up a free trade area in Africa and the signing of an appropriate agreement between Egypt and the EAEU will facilitate this process.
