MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – I am going to have more meetings with students next year, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said when he appointed new rectors of Belarusian universities on 7 December, BelTA has learned.

The head of state pointed out a special importance of university education. I have not met with students often in recent time. I am convinced that I will have a number of such meetings next year,” Alexander Lukashenko said. “Indeed, they are our future.
