Listapad 2017 in Minsk to start with Boris Khlebnikov’s Arrhythmia

Listapad 2017 in Minsk to start with Boris Khlebnikov’s ArrhythmiaMINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – The competition program of the 24th edition of the Minsk international film festival Listapad will start with one of the most outstanding pictures of the year Arrhythmia by Boris Khlebnikov, BelTA learned from the press service of the film festival.

The film will debut at the opening ceremony in the Moskva cinema house on 3 November.

Arrhythmia is a relationship drama about paramedics with an interesting insight into their everyday life with sarcasm, humor and tenderness.

The film is close to the on-trend Romanian wave as well as to the sad comedies of the Soviet epoch where the feeling of protest was replaced with a compassionate and forgiving smile.

Arrhythmia truly reflects life which doesn’t have only bad or good characters. Alexander Yatsenko stars in the movie. The picture got positive feedback not only from the jury but also from the audience as it won Audience Award with 9.1 record points in addition to the Grand Prix in Sochi.

The 24th edition of the Minsk international film festival Listapad will take place on 3-10 November under the Truth, Love, and Beauty slogan. The opening and closing ceremonies will traditionally be held in the Moskva cinema house. Listapad has been established by the Belarusian Culture Ministry and Minsk City Hall in cooperation with the National TV and Radio Company, the National Film Studio Belarusfilm, and the Belarusian Union of Cinematographers. The festival is organized by the visual and performing arts center ART Corporation.
