Belarus to host Vladimir Spivakov’s festival on 10-15 February

MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) - The fifth edition of the International Festival Vladimir Spivakov Invites will be held in Belarus from 10 to 15 February 2018, BelTA learned from the organizers. The forum, which Vladimir Spivakov holds once in two years, always features prominent singers, great theater plays and young talents.

The 2018 festival will open with a concert featuring the legendary duet of Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov on 10 February.

In a concert with the Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra Vladimir Spivakov will not only conduct but also play the violin (Bach Concerto for Two Violins). “I am always heartened by the sincerity and warmth of our regular meetings at the concerts of the Vladimir Spivakov Invites International Music festival, which has become an inherent part of my life and, I hope, the cultural life of Belarus,” Vladimir Spivakov noted.

The festival is held in support of the Culture Ministry of Belarus. The general partner of the festival is Alfa-Bank. The official partners of the forum are Servolux, Lukoil Belarus and Velcom.
