Belarus to host Atomex conference for the first time

Minsk, 26 March (BelTA) - The nuclear industry suppliers conference Atomex Belarus will be held in Minsk for the first time. It will be arranged as part of the 6th international forum AtomExpo Belarus 2014 that will be held on 1-3 April, BelTA learnt from the press service of AtomExpo (Russia).

According to the organizers, Atomex Belarus will be a communication platform for suppliers and customers. It will give an opportunity to forge new ties and discuss topical issues related to the construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant and the use of new technologies in the nuclear industry.

The AtomExpo Belarus 2014 forum will showcase the latest technologies in engineering, construction, maintenance and security of nuclear power plants. Booths will be arranged by the Energy Ministry of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences, Gosatomnadzor and a number of companies - existing or potential suppliers for the Belarusian NPP.

Russia will be represented by the Russian state corporation Rosatom, Atomenergomash, OAO NIAEP – ZAO Atomstroyexport (ASE), Atomenergoprom. Participants of the forum will be able to hold individual business meetings in the B2B format.

AtomExpo Belarus is an international expo and conference that brings together nuclear industry companies of Belarus, Russia and other states. The forum is organized upon the initiative of the Energy Ministry of Belarus and with the support of the Russian state corporation Rosatom.
