MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – On 1-25 May the Belarusian telecom company Beltelecom will sell Wi-Fi access to the Internet using simplified procedures, Beltelecom’s press service told BelTA.
For the duration of the ice hockey world championship all the outlets that sell Wi-Fi access cards will be free to use personal banking cards in lieu of passports for the sake of identifying the buyers. The unique code for authorizing the banking transaction and the name of the owner of the bank card will be used to identify the buyer of the Wi-Fi card, specified the source.
Tickets (with tear-off stubs present) can also be used to buy Internet access cards. The unique code of the ticket and its series will be used as personal details of the buyer of the card, explained Beltelecom.
