Belarus 13th in Pyeongchang medal standings

PYEONGCHANG, 22 February (BelTA) – Thanks to the victory in the Women’s 4x6km Relay Team Belarus rose to the 13th place in the 2018 Winter Olympics medal standings, BelTA has learned.

Team Belarus won three medals (2 gold, 1 silver). Belarus’ Anna Guskova bagged gold in the Ladies’ Aerials and the Belarusian team of Nadezhda Skardino, Irina Krivko, Dinara Alimbekova and Darya Domracheva clinched gold in the Women’s 4x6km Relay at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang. The leader of the Belarusian team Darya Domracheva also won silver in the Mass Start.

All in all, Belarus has won 18 Olympic medals in winter sports (8 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals).

Norway, Germany and Canada top the Pyeongchang medal count.
