Moldovan wine festival closed National Cultures Days in Minsk

A new wine festival took place in Minsk on 30 September and closed the Days of National Culture in the Upper Town. The historical center of the city offered guests an atmosphere of welcoming Moldavian countryside offering food and tasting of exclusive Moldavian wine. Grape and grape products are the symbols of this people. The top ten wine producers of Moldova presented at the food court.

The interactive and entertainment program started after a formal opening of the festival at 13:00. People were able to take a selfie with Bacchus (or Dionysus, the god of wine), a symbol of the festival, get acquainted with Moldavian traditions, learn folk dances, taste Moldavian pastry and learn how to cook it by taking part in master classes. Guests also enjoyed the performances of Plai ensemble and Moldavian poets.
